These terms apply to quotations and orders from Indus Roots Exports. Any signed sales contract between us takes precedence over these general terms.

1. Quotations

Prices and freight indications are valid for the period stated on the quotation and are confirmed only by a signed proforma invoice or sales contract. Ocean freight is subject to carrier rate changes unless fixed in the contract.

2. Incoterms

We trade under Incoterms® 2020 (for example FOB, CFR or CIF). Risk passes from seller to buyer as defined by the Incoterm in the contract.

3. Quality and inspection

Products are prepared to the parameters agreed in the contract, such as EC, pH, moisture, size and packing. Buyers may arrange a pre-shipment inspection by an agency of their choice at their own cost.

4. Documentation and import requirements

We provide the standard export documents, including a phytosanitary certificate where required. The buyer is responsible for import permits and for confirming that the agreed specification and treatments meet the rules of the destination country.

5. Website content

Product information on this website is for general guidance. Final specifications are those confirmed in writing for each order.

6. Governing law

Unless agreed otherwise in writing, contracts are governed by the laws of India, with jurisdiction in the courts of Tamil Nadu.
